"Finding my passion."
hello,
I just wanted to first say thank you for visiting our site. the main goal of our company and this website is very simple... to help you awaken to and live your passion! I cannot think of anything more important than living your passion: doing what you were put here on earth to do.
today we are bombarded with constant messages from the media on how to dress, how to find the love of your life, what to eat, how to get your body in shape, how to make all the money in world… the list goes on and on. however none of these things mean a darn thing if you are not living your life with purpose. in fact, it is only when you are living your life with your soul's unique purpose that all of the above can come to you.
do you really think that if you had all the money in world right now you would be happy…? honestly.
your soul does not need money. it needs you to listen to it and carry out its wishes: to live your life purpose. live the life you were put here to do and everything else (money, health, partner etc...) will follow.
it is only once you've discovered what makes you happy and begin to live your soul purpose that everything will start to fall in place. I am living proof of this.
I remember back in college reading "death of a salesman" and the professor saying, "there is nothing more tragic in life than doing something for a living that you did not like." I smirked and thought, "that will never happen to me. how could somebody do something in life they couldn't stand doing? that's just crazy and cowardly."
but along the way something happened to me without me even knowing it. In high school I was very good in math and sciences. after graduation, without much introspection or self evaluation I entered the engineering field. I got both my engineering degree and MBA and became embarked on a career path; a path that was chosen for little reason other than others’ expectations and following traditional steps. I guess it was what I thought I should do. little did I know that my chosen career path would be a slow, creeping death.
I was not used to the rigors of the engineering work day, much less the conformance and adherence to structured corporation culture. it just didn't feel 'right' or natural to me. it wasn't long before I became very depressed.
I always had a bit of a rebel in me, and the strict, corporate way was killing me. However, the paychecks kept coming, and my life was ‘normal’, so I managed to stay the course.
soon thereafter I met someone and got married and had a couple of children (whom by the way are the angels of my life and who teach me so much - I know that through them is one of the many ways the universe communicates to me). unconsciously I started to become more and more enslaved to work. I continued to feel that everything was "not quite right," but I buried these feelings because, after all, I had responsibility and a family to take care of.
I continued to work laboriously for 13 years as an engineer until I finally couldn't bare it anymore. I crossed the threshold where the pain, numbness and hopelessness became greater than my fear of failing or following my dreams.
it was during a seven hour road trip in my car alone that a voice came to me and told me to start making shirts with "the universe knows" imprinted on them.
the phrase had been in my head for years but I never acted on it. however this time, it was different. what happened to me during that ride was special. I didn't question the voice. I acted quickly, without wondering about the consequences and took my first baby step: I incorporated. so... back in august of 2003, the universe knows, inc. was born.
looking back on those 13 years, I now know they were a blessing. I am grateful for my education as well as work experiences and all the relationships that formed along the way. I am blessed. I now know that I had to go through it all; had to experience enough to understand. I relate and associate with people and what they are going through. I now have compassion because I understand!
I also realize that the universe was setting me up the whole way – All my previous jobs and experiences have provided me with the right skills to be able to manage the universe knows. Blessings are truly everywhere!!!
the universe knows will be your support group. we will provide you with the encouragement you need to awaken your passion. we will not judge you. we will cheer you on to live your dreams. we will be your number one fan. for that, we ask only that you bring an open heart and a willingness to change. after all, you wouldn't already be here if you weren't ready.
so take the journey with us and be one of the souls to tell us how you did it. your message will help others to live their dreams. we will not stop until the whole universe is in tandem and every soul on earth is living it's dream. dare to dream. follow your heart. the rewards are worth the risk. this, the universe knows.
